I learned touch typing only recently. And I'm still slow at it plus I think my posture or the way I hold my hands or shoulders might be off. Because my wrists, or shoulders or neck or something or the other hurts after I touch type for a while.

I actually learned touch typing because I used to use two fingers to type and they got badly cramped/achy

Touch typing is typing without looking

And it's also keeping your fingers on the default/reference positions on the f and j keys (you'll find those keys have little protruding lines on them so you can find them by touch, without looking at the keyboard) and touch typing from there.
