2-3 days that's for a larger piece, which I hardly ever buy tbh. I would assume that for one person you would not cook something that big?
Or maybe you have your fridge up to the max, I usually keep it in the lower levels because I don't need to keep food that cold. And of course it thaws faster.

really??? i dunno.....it never seemed too long to me. i've seen chicken drumsticks and thighs taken from the freezer and only taking about a day or so to defrost.....8U

i hear putting meat in water and vinegar or salted water will help it defrost faster. my mom sometimes seasons the meat before its completely defrosted and puts it in the fridge. she told me that the soy sauce/salt will help it defrost faster.

so. yeah. apart from when we get a lamb thigh for special occasions, we've never had to take 2-3 DAYS to defrost meat...8U

The fridges here suck.

If you go lower than what it is, milk and food goes bad after 2 days.
If you go higher than what it's at, everything freezes as if it's in a freezer.
So it has to stay on this setting so even a simple package of pre-sliced stirfry meat takes 2-3 days to thaw out in the fridge. It's not that big of package.


And again.. Sebas will get to it if I let it sit out to thaw out in any way. He eats everything... including vinegar.

i dunno what the diff between US and Canadian fridges are. XDDDDD they should be the same pft.

It's more of, these things are old and have broken down many times and then repaired many times just to be used as a replacement when another fridge dies.

They need to update their appliances but they don't.

Yea.. I was told my old AC is going to apartment 5 because her's doesn't run at all and the fan part working is better than nothing working. =/

Dude just replace shit every 5-7 years like your suppose to...

wait so your AC was still sorta working? like you only got a fan but like...no cooling part? or something?

Pretty much.. all that fan part does is pull in the hot air from outside and makes it worse inside. It's like when you open the oven to take something out and get that blast of heated air right in the face. Except it doesn't stop.
