Humans are social beings, we need our support systems and these cults know that and exploit that.
I'm glad Norway took a stance against them, my government is still debating if they should allow the JW to deal with inhouse child abuse without legal interference... One of their reasons is that they do not want to alienate the religion from our society.
It hurts my brain that even 30 years later it is still something to debate. :}

And people being rude to JW is, sadly, supporting the cult's desires
But kids these days are finding it harder and harder to buy into it and are sneaking and breaking
Yeah, there's still the poor saps who are fully into it, but they're a shrinking party

i'm shocked that they're debating whether child abuse should always be a legal issue or not. regardless of whether it happens in a cult or not of course the law needs to protect people, especially children who are literally helpless and completely under the control of adults and cannot help themselves, from ABUSE.

Wonder how much money that cult is giving them to make it debatable

At least a man that committed stealthing has been prosecuted and convicted. So my country is making some baby steps in that regard. :}

Loads of money JW is one of the richest cults in my country.
