@Kit: I had some markers and things from over 10+ years that I finally let go because I realized they were unlikely to still be usable haha
@mem: I agree, it's been a tough path, but I rather understand the reality of it and make sure I am happy and healthy because that is my main responsibility.
Oh, nice! So glad you are starting a business and have a SO :D
Let us know how the business launch goes <3
If I can lend any advice you can pick my brain anytime. :)
@Dream: Yeah, that does seem to be the case. :(
The bulk of my stuff that was really special was on this account, or at least one copy on this one... so it's not like... the worst. But all the duplicates or things I may have used for other Art Contests are gone now for the most part, which is a damn shame.
@Mynah: Just make a point to log in at least every other month and you should be good. That's what I have been doing, even if I don't have time to do much, I just want to make sure the remaining accounts don't poof too.
@capitalism: The main issue is it is currently super unbalanced. Unbridled greed at the expense of the workers, and consumers, has left our buying market weak, and the majority of folks living paycheck to paycheck. We're in a bear market, so hopefully some innovative companies that give a crap about humans will shake things up.
A few months it felt like the AI take over, and that did not give me any kind of good warm and fuzzy things would get better. At best, they are useful workflow improvement tools, but since they already made us the product and sold and resold our info, now they want to replace us with robots... Throw in a global pandemic and things have gotten so dystopian I think that's why dystopian media has had a huge downswing. We need more light and hope back in our lives.

If they stopped mandating me maybe I'd get the energy to do that myself
Alas

How is anyone here doing.
I've been working on making an in-home atelier as with rent prices it was impossible to find an affordable creative space anywhere, that wasn't shared space.
I mean my whole reason to have a space for it is so that I do not need to clean it up between artistic splurges. :}

My business isn't doing so great this month, haha. But BF and I plan to move in together sometime next month, so that motivates me to find some clients and another job, maybe part-time or something. Anyhow, I'm broke atm

Broke is a state many of us perpetuate in right now due to crazy inflation. :}
