But instead of being nekkid, I don't change anything. xD

I was making my entries for the avie contest. I start with a clean slate, pick a top and start matching items. I got 2 done, but I just can't seem to get the 3rd started.

Any way, I did get my hiragana entry done!

Memorize Hiragana ta through no. There is a useful Hiragana practice site located in Gakusei Resources.

Cultural Info
[[Ayame]] wrote:Japanese uses honorifics at the end of names to indicate status and/or relationship.

-chan: shows endearment; commonly used for girls, but can be used for boys and pets
-kun: shows familiarity; commonly used for boys, but can be used for girls as well
-kohai: used for one's junior (like an underclassman)
-senpai/sempai: opposite of kohai; used for one's senior (like an upperclassman)
-san: most common honorific; equivalent to Mr., Ms., Miss., or Mrs., but can be used as an all-purpose honorific
-sensei: teacher or master of art or other profession; literal meaning is "one who has come (was born) before"
-sama: shows great respect
-dono: shows utmost respect

Banner Contest
Okay, the next contest is going to be for drawing our banner, and I need ideas of Japanese things that people could incorporate into the words of Bento Box. So far I've come up with dango, sushi, chopsticks, kimono, lantern, cherry blossom, daruma, yen, bamboo, lychee, getta sandals, and bonsai tree. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I am in Pacific time. I am a bit confused by those abbreviations though. What time zone are you using for the deadline?

Pacific, not Pacific-New (cos thats one of the options on the site)? Then it's 12:00 Midnight on February 28th for you. ^^

EDIT: Oyasumi, no one. TT_TT
