@Chloe
True, and yeah, at times it can be hard to tell with bases how things will turn out.

@Chaos
Was there a particular stage or no? If not then between one and two the most notable changes are the ears, though it can also be noticed that the shirt does get longer and she gets an armband looking thing. (what is that skin colored thing between her legs by the way? I only noticed it this time when I was looking at it...) Stages two to three is better, having the boots, skirt and the eye being noticeable changes. However, in three to four the only notable changes is the other eye opening and the two little wings peeking in back, but all three are kind of on the small side. :qhehe: I can't really tell that there were any other changes unless I look really closely. As for the fourth to fifth, the only noticeable changes I see are the wings getting bigger, the sword and the marking on her face. Other than that she looks the same. If there's something I missed mentioning its probably because I didn't notice it right away because it's not all that noticeable right away.

@ml201
I rather redo it a few times and be happy with it than submit one I don't like. I had a custom sitting on another site that is hasn't been finished for a year, not that I am not happy with my edits to it. I just don't know what colors I want to use and still have more details of my own to add on.

Ah, that happened to me with my ninja boy, I wait over a year before I finally finished him. :qoops:

Hello, I just wanted to double check the proportions of my base before I do any more work on my knuffel. :> Should I try and "expand" the arms out a little more?

The arms look good, hey don't have to be right up to the line, just really close to it.

Thanks ML! I just wanted to double check since they actually originally touched the line when I originally drew them.

They need a lot more changes to my eye. Looking at the second version, I would add one more major change from stage 1 to 2, one more in stage 3, maybe one more in stage 4 to be safe as I'm not sure on that one, and one more in stage five at least if not two more. Remember the sword in the final stage does not count because it's an addition which has come out of nowhere rather than an evolution. From stage to stage I have to really look hard in order to see the differences.

Chaos, maybe I am blind, but I still do not see what you have changed between the first and the second attempt? It started to have one eye open a stage earlier, but I don't see anything that has been added?

You need to keep in mind that you should have at least 3 big changes per stage. Big changes are things like the ears, wings, clothes getting bigger/longer, socks, the sword, but that's pretty much all the big changes your Knuffel has already, and that's enough for 3 stages, maybe 4 if I turn a blind eye to it.
