i don't think i've ever submitted anything to a room contest,
mostly because i really want to invest in it before i do ...
but i spend all my fp on avatar items instead so (ノ_<。)

I've entered once and got first place for that month maybe? Idk I got a trophy for it. And one medal from the avatar contest but I don't remember what years those were

I used to do the avi contest a lot in years past but I never won. Maybe if I tried now that I have more items to work with, I'd have better luck...

rubie, i actually love the avatar you've got right now!
i had the same feeling though, that i never had enough items etc ...
maybe i could finally try it since i've built up my wardrobe quite a bit over the years.

Yeah most of my items are MT, TT, and Event lol. I really only go to the food shops when I think they might have something.

some solid advice i got eons ago was to buy the simple items in the shops
as a sort of base for the others, so i try to do that ..
but man, trying to get every color of those basic items is pricey!
i wanted to earlier and getting every color of a top i liked was like 60k
@_@
so instead i bought some mt items, lmao.
