The appointment went fine.. the lady who cleaned my teeth listened to my woes and didn't bug me.. but the other 2 who came in (the dentist and some other lady who took my xrays) they nagged a bit

"Your so young! 3 times a day!"

Brushing without toothpaste is better than not brushing at all.
What kind of crest do you use specifically?

I'm super picky about toothpaste too. So many taste really gross.

I need to go to the dentist too. Get a cleaning. Maybe convince them to file down the edges a little since my mouth gets cut on them constantly.


Yeah, Cat, you shouldn't be freaking out quite that much with a dentist appointment. Get you some anti anxiety meds or something.

I can pretty much use any toothpaste. xD I'm not picky at all when it comes to that. I hate the cinnamon kind though.

I haven't been on anxiety medicine since high school, my last therapist didn't think I needed it. They just put me on Prozac (again) for my OCD and depression. I quit taking it after gaining about 35 lbs. I've just been dealing with my mental issues as best I can without medicine for a couple years now.

I'm a bored panda.

I need 1k more to be able to get the whole set of Spring items, and I don't think I'll make it.

Anti Cavity kind ovo (screw whitening tooth paste >_>, crap dun works) Though I also try to get the kind that helps with sensitive teeth (if its a multi purpose kind I'll go for that if I have the money)

larger tubes last longer so I try going for those oxo

When I was a kid I loved getting the kind of crest that sparkled.. it tasted like candy (I PROMISE I DIDN"T EAT IT! D8)

The one lady was all "You should use mouth wash too.. Listerine is the best use that" and I was all.. Um yea.. I've got sensitive taste buds... so because I can't handle Listerine I use Act.. and she was all "but Listerine is stronger for a reason" >:x Barfing would just negate the whole tooth brushing process thank you very much!

The dentist dude was all "if you don't have tooth paste, just go to the parmacy and take it! they don't pay attention to those isles!" so to go along with his joking (the nurse who was all up in my face about brushing and mouth wash and shiz was freaking out about him saying to go steal >w>,) I said "yea, they're too busy watching the candy isle!"

^(owo)^ boom dk made a funny! I got the dentist to laugh .. they should laugh! they're all about "great smiles" anyway >:x who wants a dentist who doesn't smile and can't crack jokes with patients! (its why I also like my chiropractor >w>)

What flavor of anticavity? Do you use the paste or gel? There are a lot of options. Lol.


I am definitely in the meds are good for mental illness category. But therapy helps to if you could get that easier. And surely they make an antidepressant that doesn't make you gain weight. Hopefully.
