How about making the ears smaller at first and then having them grow in size, like your wings?

You could also give her the sword without the red material on it in the fourth stage, and then the red material would appear on it in the second as an evolution, or at least have red on the hilt so it's a noticeable evolution. I would also do the ear thing like Ziaheart suggested.

In addition to the changes ML and Zia have already suggested, maybe you could gradually evolve her shoes too? So like, no shoes, "flats", "ankle", full. Maybe another idea for the sword would be to have it gradually evolve from a small knife into a full sword?

What you all are suggesting is just "shifting changes" around though. This Knuffel still needs a couple of more changes. Whether they happen earlier or later or slower does not make a big difference, there just aren't enough evolving elements.

I tried to explain this before, maybe my wordings were not chosen well: The Knuffel in Stage 5 has enough changes from the first stage for a stage 3, maybe 4 if I turn a blind eye to it and it would be pushing the edge.

2-3 changes are very minimal, but I think worst problem is 3-4. She only gets a crown. It is nowhere near "at least 3 big changes per stage".

*Sigh* Guess She won't be able to be turned into a Knuffel then...
Troy and Guianna really aren't complex enough characters for more
evolutions then the ones I presented... :(

No KofK Lolita Versions... No Guianna or Troy OC Designs...

*Sigh* Guess I'll hafta move on to different characters.... T3T

I am sorry - I have noticed in the past already that the attempt to turn Original Characters into Knuffel usually does not work well, because original characters usually aren't as "overloaded" as Knuffel need to be to provide an interesting evolution and because people cannot just add more elements to them without changing the character's design. It's usually not such a good idea.... :mcgloom:

Although it does open up a window for improved designs.
But some characters will not work due their simple designs, which I have learned. Take it from me, some characters jut don't work. If you really want it to work, you should be willing to add somethings to the character. Don't be overly stubborn, as it only will more frustration.

Which I experienced first hand.. :mcblush:

Maybe try having her start out with underwear in her first stage.
For the second stage, try smaller wings.
In the third stage, make the pants smaller. Give her smaller sleeves as well. You want her to evolve, not to suddenly dress up, you can also enlarge her wings.
In the fourth, you can add in the sleeves as they are in the third stage now. The pants can stay for how they are.
I suggest doing something with the hair though, as this design can be troublesome with how you are limiting yourself with the changes. But this is how I see it.
