"The Alphabet Abecedarium: Some Notes on Letters", and because I cannot just read one book at once, I'm also reading "Bronze Gods" and "The Walking Drum".
Um.
So far, "The Walking Drum" is wonderful entertainment if you don't think about history too hard, and "The Alphabet Abecedarium" is a great book for making you think about history, so it's very nice to have the buffer book of "Bronze Gods" which doesn't seem to relate to anything and is just pure fun.
>.<
strawblairery, did you finish "Windmills of the Gods"? How was it? Would you recommend it? (And what point of view is it written in?)

I picked up a copy of The Works of Lord Byron at an estate sale a few months ago and have finally sat down to read through them. Though I am planning on re-reading the Tiffany Aching series with the addition of The Shepherd's Crown here soon.

I've finished all my last books, and am now re-reading the Vorkosigan Saga (by Lois McMaster Bujold) in anticipation of finally getting my hands on a copy of "Captain Vorpatril's Alliance".
(Yes, yes, I KNOW it's been out for a while now! I'm just... behind, okay?)

Woo-hoo, finished, I loved Captain Vorpatril's alliance! Ha ha ha, so many great moments.
"May I ask why, if Lady Alys wishes to know what is going on in her only son's life, she is applying to me?"
"Experience, sir?"
...
"Oh. That was rhetorical, wasn't it... I'll just go write m'mother a note."
Bwa ha ha ha ha!
(I paraphrase, but it was memorable and hilarious.)
So now I need to pick up something else. Hm. Ideas?

I'm a Robin Hobb fan, so I'm re-reading all the Fitz and Fool related ones to make all the puzzle pieces togheter. ^^

Just finished "Shepherd's Crown"
Spoiler
(happy to get that last Discworld book, but I wasn't actually very impressed with it, compared to his other works. Which makes sense; it's not like he had time to go over the thing for final edits.)
and "Cast In Honor" (By Michelle Sagara. I really enjoy this series; the interactions between the races make me laugh, so often...)
About to pick up "Conrad's Fate", by Diana Wynne Jones.

So lately I've been having fun with Baring-Gould's "The Lure of the Limerick", which is hilarious and a very select compendium, and then my sister handed me Julie Garwood's "Fast Track" which promises to be very nice mind-candy.
We'll see how it turns out in reality soon!
