I tend to just ruffle up the fur on their backs Or I just mercilessly hold them and mess them all up, maybe make them turn on their backs and tickle their tummies

I'm worried about my rats, 5 days in collars after surgery, counting from tomorrow, and 3 different medications for each of them... We're all in heaven

Going for a shower soonish.

I'm feeling better now. Just normal warm now. But it was super weird with the shivering and hotness. Like a fever. Do fevers come on for a couple hours and then go away sometimes?


Aw, poor ratties. What's wrong with them? I hope they start to feel better soon! So many drugs. I hope they're easy to administer.


I took a nice long bath this morning. Good times. I like being able to relax. I need to clean my tub again though.

How often do y'all clean your tub/shower?

Maybe they do? Idunno, but bf has had weird episodes of shivers before, although he felt cold, not hot... And was as pale as if he was about to breathe his spirit out any second, it was scary

We had them sterilized at last, but they're not handling the collars well. We tried to substitute them with an elastic bandaid, but yeah, that didn't work.
I mix up the meds with some natural yoghurt, so they kind of eat them for now. We'll see for how long I'll be able to pull that off until I'll have to switch to something else

I can't really remember when we did clean our tub so maybe it's time Usually bf does it, because he doesn't want me to breathe in the chemicals and he's not feeling well lately. He can't seem to get completely recovered from flu and such.
