What a difficult life. Makes you think it's not worth living. And at the same time reminds you not to take things for granted, even the likes of being able to bathe or eat/drink.

Yeah it’s like your own body is betraying you. Can you actually prevent yourself from crying and sweating? It’s a really crazy condition.

Photodermatosis is indeed the name I was looking for. If I'm a vampire I've inherited it from my mom. And Mem, we have all the same symptoms.
As a kid I was teased for always wearing long sleeves and pants during summer and sunny days. But then I would wear shorts and T-shirts during days it would be raining. :}

gosh, i wouldn't know what to do if i had to wear long sleeves on hot sunny days. esp when its so hot, i want to peel my skin off lol.

I have no idea who I could've inherited the sun sensitivity from, my mom absolutely loves being in strong sunlight for extended time. Idk about my dad tbh. I should ask him. But I'll probably forget xD
I just avoid going out for long when it's sunny. And at the same time I try to go out for just a little bit when it's sunny because vitamin D deficiency
I remember in my teen years I would mostly wear long sleeves and pants no matter the weather because 1, I was kinda goth-like or whatever and 2, I was super uncomfortable with my own body, and showing bare skin was a no-no in my brain.

I joke sometimes because I'm so fair complected that I'm actually a vampire. I sunburn so quickly if I don't wear sunscreen. I just learned that even other people who are not fair complected should put sunscreen on before they leave the house.

i don't like going out a lot but even when i do, i never burn, i barely turn red and barely tan. xD;; my skin is still a pasty (yellow) white colour. xD

I'm planning on going out to my local state park to do some more nature sketching soon. It started raining really hard when I was there last and so I went home. I'm almost finished with that drawing but I'm trying to write most of the 3,000 word final paper for my class first lol.

I don't really burn, I don't think. I get tanned but the rash can come up when I'm out in the sun for too long. I don't come out that often though, so it's hard to say how long is too long. Maybe I'll notice some pattern this summer, idk.
