You're welcome. ^^ And it's not that you're being less creative, you just haven't found that something that really sparks your interest. Some people need more inspiration than others.

I definitely need more inspiration than others haha!
But planes and certain birds are usually the ones that give me that...
Anyway this is what I've got now ^_^;;
I don't think I've got enough to work on the other stages with o.O Well... it's a few years ago I made that thread... I actually care about other books, too xD
I don't like just any 'fantasy' story, even if it happens to have a random dragon in it ^_^;;
And I don't know much about that series, but I don't think it's my thing.

While I agree she looks similar, there's no way anybody could think they're too alike. Only their bangs and beaks are even close to the same, haha. And yes, I took the time to analyze them side-by-side. xD
As for clothing... I'd make suggestions, but I'm not really sure what you're going for as far as her appearance. But I really really like what you've got so far.

The hair and beak are indeed the same. The hair is slightly longer and they're both recolored, but the beak is the same. As are the wings, which are just in another stance.
The look I'm going for is a bit of a tough girl. Do you know what I mean? ^_^;;
I don't really what else to call it. You know, a little like Six, Yuna, Black Widow... the lady heroes? ;D
She needs to be bad-ass.

I know exactly what you mean, but I'm still unsure what to suggest... Aside from boots. I absolutely love boots. It's a real shame our avatars have no feet, haha.
But anyways, I really think you're on the right track. Also... Is that a electrical plug tail I see peeking out from behind her cape?
