Being a mom and caregiver don't leave much time for 'me time'.
And as much as I love reading it can be pretty tiring. Using your thinky thinky parts when you're exhausted can be rough.
Oh that's neat. I'll have to check it out.
Do you have it in book form or only ebook?

Chrizine, how was your mum's visit? Was it stressful?
light,
I am still pretty sore from playing volleyball :D But that's because we played aaaages on Friday/Saturday night as we participated in a tournament. There were 16 teams and we scored 2nd :) It lasted from 8pm until 4am or something xD
One of the best days of my life, soooo much fun!
That's so cool that your teacher read it to you.
I remember some classmates having book presentations on Harry Potter, but I don't remember whether I liked it/paid attention xD

@light: Exactly.
I have it in book form. I won't get phone version. I like holding physical books and I won't have to worry about something going wrong and I loose it.
It's 2:12am and I should be sleeping, but now that my headache is gone and I woke up around midnight, my brain says it's awake. |p I hate that.

LittleJulez - That sounds super fun! Good job on placing second, that's awesome!
Yeah, he was a really good teacher. Very kind and understanding. He read us another book and we were all super surprised to find out that all the characters were black. I lived in very rural Kentucky at the time so there wasn't any black people at my school. Very few in our town.
Oh man. I remember book reports. I had such a hard time with them. I would always make them waaay too long. I'd describe just about everything in the book. lol.
MissNikki - Thanks! I hope you did as well!
DC - I like physical books and ebooks. Ebooks are a lot more convenient for me. I can hold like a million books on my phone and it's practically weightless. My wrists often get super tired holding up a physical book.
That happens to me all the time. I'm sorry, hun.

I like physical books too and will choose them over e-books. I do occasionally borrow my mom's Kobo to read books that she has downloaded and that I want to read. I do find it convenient for taking on transit if need be. But ya, love the feel of a book in my hands.

I also just attach memories to the look of a physical book - I will remember what a book I loved looks like and if I see a book on my shelf, I remember things about it. With ebooks, I never manage to remember what was in which book, since I only see the cover once or twice while reading. So I much prefer physical books.

Is Kobo like a kindle?
I guess lots of people prefer the physical ones. Oh well.

@light: I know, but I have a habit of dropping phones, and so it's better to have a book.
