Yeah, they wanted to charge my dad $200 just to move the treadmill he bought :\
My parents are old and have health issues and they wanted $200 to move it for them.
My dad had to stop and take some of his heart pills while moving it.

Yeah, they can charge you an eye just for appearing.

I'm exhausted.
I hate feeling this tired.

Yes, this week has been hectic at work.
But also I feel tired quite frequently, and when things are stressful I notice it much more. I feel like I need to sleep 20 hours straight, but then it's not just a matter of sleeping.
My thyroids fault really.

I know the feels, I get tired really easily too. I'm almost certain I could sleep for an entire day if I let myself. I really need to get a sleep study done.

Sorry your thyroid's being a butt, are there many treatments available for that?

Yeah, there are, and I'm actually taking them. They made such a difference!
I used to feel exhausted all the time (from morning to night, every day), feeling sleepy at the worst moments (I was scared to drive for example) and having much mental fog, but ever since I started taking my meds I'm much better.

Now I'm only suffering a mild version of those symptoms, and it does get a bit worse when I'm under stress - such as this week.
Which means my medication needs some adjusting, but I only could get an appointment for June. So I'm waiting for it.

Ooo that's great that it helps so much, I hope you're able to get it adjusted properly so it's working optimally again.

Yeah driving is tough if you're not at 100%. I've never driven before, I'm very nervous that I would start dissociating and not notice something important. Also I just have no idea how I'd keep my anxiety in check. I get really nervous just being a passenger in a car when a semi-truck or whatever pulls up beside us. I'm worried I'd panic if I was the driver and do something dumb.

The thing with driving is that it's a quite complex exercise: you have to pay attention to what's going on on the road, on the sides, speed signs, inside the car... and at the same time you have to push one pedal, release the other, change the light settings, etc.
BUT most of that stuff gets automatized after a while.

I've been driving for more than 20 years now, and it's no longer an effort.
But that moment when you feel drowsy while driving, oh my, that scares the hell out of me!

In normal conditions (I used to feel like that when pregnant) I would stop the car, do a little walking or even running, refresh my face, and I was ready to keep going.
But now it does not work, the drowsiness remains with me no matter what :|

On a more humorous side, I feel a bit self-concious when I yawn in the middle of a class.
What will my students think? XD

I'm sorry you're experiencing that, Amura.
I've not been doing well mentally myself for the past week.

My dad fell asleep at a yield sign once.
He was driving, slowed down, fell asleep.

I wondered where you were Moi, sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Hugs from us :qh:

I... I guess it's good that he was stopped when he fell asleep, at least?

@Amura
Speaking as someone who was a university student only a couple years ago, they see you yawn and silently commiserate with you LOL.
