@light it works similar to fictional people: there's canon, which is set in real life concerts or reality shows or whatever, and then there's au, which is like total creative freedom. in au oftentimes just their name and appearance is the same not even the personality

I feel weird that it's real people though. Like what if they read it? It be very strange.
Oh my. There is a ton of lolicon in the world. I'm honestly more worried about real children being abused.

So, new anime out called Goblin Slayer.
Synopsis:
"I'm not saving the world. I just kill goblins." Rumor has it that, in a certain guild in the middle of nowhere, there is an extraordinary man who has climbed all the way to the Silver rank just by killing goblins. At the same guild, a priestess who's just become a new adventurer has formed her first party... and the man who ends up rescuing that party when they get into trouble is none other than the Goblin Slayer.

It's not... It's got rape right in the first episode. People who haven't read the original content went into the show thinking it was a simple light hearted D&D fantasy story.
SURPRISE! Extreme Violence, and Rape! 2 people so far who watched this show with out prior knowledge have asked for Content Warnings to be placed somewhere. What did they get in return? People telling them to learn to research the anime (What I gave you is basically what people find during researching anime with out spoilers), to get over it because this shit happens in real life, and that its just a cartoon..
The people are acting as if these people are demanding it to be taken down.. no.. they just want a content warning! "This contains sexual violence, viewer discretion is advised" something along those lines to be added somewhere.

Ugh, I hate rape scenes. I would want a warning too. It's seriously triggering for me and I've never even been raped, only assaulted. I can't imagine how awful it would be if you were a rape survivor.
I bet it's mostly men that are being such douches about it.

More than likely.
I watched the episode, rape doesn't bother me much in media and I was prepped for it thanks to all the crap going around about it. It's a good anime, really dark and brutal... The story so far is interesting and it looks like there will be good character building and background stories.. (even take out the rape scene it's still really brutal.. they kill goblin children and people are screaming child abuse at that. Goblins are considered monsters in this world, dangerous low level monsters that NO ONE wants to deal with because it's too low level for them. Because of that the goblins multiply and those numbers make them even more dangerous to deal with )
One website fixed their tv rating for it finally though owo

Man, my husband is the dungeon master for our dnd groups and he is always trying to get us to kill baby monsters. I don't wanna! in one campaign I adopted a harpy egg.
In this campaign I wanted to adopt some baby dragons but the party killed them before I could protest.
