Yeeeep I def had to cook yesterday lol. My dad is of no help bc he prefers to do the simplest option like frozen premade meals or takeout. Lol

Today I found out I am allergic to eggplant. Which is very sad as I had made enough of an eggplant dish to eat for three days. Now mom can eat it and i have to find something else to eat. :}

How did you find out you were allergic to eggplant?

As stated in my previous post. I made a dish. Two bites in and ... :}

No yeah I know that lol. But like what happened that made you think “oh wait it was this eggplant that made me allergic and not something else in the eggplant dish”. Like did you break out in a rash? Had trouble breathing?

Ah, did not understand that that was what you were asking. thought you overread the second line.
Basically dish exists out of only 3 components, minced meat, potatoes, and eggplant. seasoned with my standard herbs and some salt.
I know I am not allergic to the meat, potato or herbs, so it had to be the eggplant.
And my tongue swelled up and burned like I tried to extinguish a hot poker on it. A very unpleasant experience (have the same experience with pineapple and I know I am allergic to that). :}

Sorry for being unclear lol! I know that when I talk, I sometimes garble things bc I’m nervous or just want to get whatever I want to say out without thinking of it. So sometimes I shorthand what I say. Guess it applies to typing now too lol.

Sounds mighty unpleasant to be allergic to something. D: but were you always allergic to eggplant or could you eat it before?

My mom's been gone for a day, and won't get home until late Wednesday. My grandma is being seen at a cancer center because she has a tumor on her ear. I've been trying to work a ton because I have to pay for my last class in college. The last assignment I went to a lady was super rude to me. It was kind of discouraging but I gotta do what I gotta do. :c
