When I worked all the time it was hard to get on here and post because I was so exhausted and my husband would always want attention because he didn't see me all day. Now that i'm in school again, I can just pop on real quick in between classes or assignments.

Ah, husbands are always so needy

But yeah, sometimes one is too tired to even want to post in a forum.
It feels great having some time off along the day, wish I could pop on between classes too

Yeah before school I was working 40-50 hours a week. So I was just exhausted when I got home.

That's A LOT.

I don't even know how many hours I do a week, I'm supposed to work 6 hours in the morning and the rest is work at home which is harder to keep track of.
I tend to work during the weekends at home too.

That's tough because then you can't quite keep track of everything or fully detach yourself from work when you're at home.

I never fully detach me from work tbh. Not even during my holidays.
In part because I tend to obsess over things. Also there is so much to do, and if you want to do it well you need to dedicate it time.

That makes sense. I've found that I needed to detach for my health because I worked in healthcare and it would be often stressful and depressing.

In all honesty I found most of the work quite interesting. I'm always creating new material for my students, and that's something I love.
For example, I've written my own textbooks. That's a hell of work, but def worth it.
What I hate is paperwork. That I do loathe. So I only do it on weekdays. My rule.

I wonder if there are any people who are like, man I love paperwork. It's my favorite.

Certainly not me.

I suppose paperwork is fine when all you need to do is sign at the bottom! XD The reading and filling things out though...
