Not my first, but very close to it. I think it was just the second anime I went to actively look for after I got hooked into the general phenomenon at a sci-fi convention I attended (the first was Gravitation, if I'm not mistaken). Nevertheless, Inuyasha remains one of my early anime encounters and really close to my heart. *cuddles Inuyasha*

Technically it was My Neighbor Totoro, although Pokemon, Cardcaptor Sakura and Shaman King were pretty close. Digimon, Fighting Foodons, Monster Rancher... Call it a seven-way tie. Inuyasha came much later, after a solid anime education, because no cable . Can't say it's a favorite.

My first anime, but I only watched like two episodes.
When I stayed at my grandma with my cousin we'd stay up to watch it.
My first anime I watched all the way was Sailor Moon, but I only watched the first season. (I recorded them all on VHS haha)

I also have a kirara plush. That was my first anime plushie.

Project A-Ko was my first anime, it was showing on scifi when I was younger. Didn`t get into Inuyasha until I was in middle school.
