Thanks. That's cool though, we seem to have some things in common.
Personally a lot of my OCs have flaws, the reasons/trials of the stories are to overcome them.
Of course with flaw, comes the opposite when it's overcome as well.
So there's indeed a balance, though my writings can be extreme or dramatic at times.

@Koh: *nods* Yeah, I totally get what you mean. How can a character be who he is or evolve in any way without obstacles, right? And a character should have flaws to make them more realistic and well-rounded.
I like a little drama in my writing, a little humor too. That's pretty much my writing style.

I died a little inside that day. :'(I'm a Harry Potter fan, to be sure. I'm just not a fan of movies whose books I've already read.So it was YOU! 8D Random Knuffel feeders make me happy inside.Stories are like roads. It's more interesting when they wind a bit and you get to see the scenery and such.

Yeah I should try incorporating more humor..
I try but it's not as easy as it was when I was younger.
Though it also helps me to have certain character types for that. XD

@Koh: I'm a silly person, so it's not too difficult for me. If my OC is the serious type, I always end up putting him in awkward situations for a good laugh. Gotta always have my grins.
