Linkin Park and Green Day... The two bands that dragged me into music... Look where they are now... I don't know their music after Meteora and American Idiot simply because it's too gay... How did Basket Case become 21 Guns? And what happened to the band that made Don't Stay, Points of Authority, Faint, Papercut? Can't be the same band that made bloody What I've Done? :(
Back then it was so important that your band didn't become too main stream. Today I listen to what I like. There's Call Me Maybe and Lady Gaga on my iPhone as well as An Cafe and Golden Bomber and the old Green Day and Linkin Park and PANIC! at the disco and Fall Out Boy. Oh and Skrillex and Dragostea din Tei, what do I care :D
Oh I always stand my ground. I don't fight back but I won't budge either :p
Sadly An Cafe was the only concert where I had to go to the back. The situation was awful. I had spent the night outside with -8*, I was on high heels, I hadn't slept and the fangirls were choking me with my own bag. And so I missed half of the concert of my favorite band. I actually cried. :')
That's small aircraft too :)
Well they're not damagingly loud, but it's hard to hear eachother, so the headset makes it easier.
Passenger jets however aren't loud at all. Have you never been in one? You barely hear the engines even though they're right next to you :)
Imagine what it's like in the cockpit. When a 747 loses an engine the first officer will not freak out before he sees the gauges drop. :p

Palm Treeeeeeeeee

Yeah, my brother got into music because of Linking Park. The last album I've heard was already pretty much... not what they were in the beginning. Don't know if they made anything since then. Never heard much of the early stuff of Green Day. But yeah I think that happens to most bands that exist for a long time. Either that or they don't change at all which can make fans upset because everything is just the same.
Hey I love Dragostea din tei xD
Well that An Cafe fans sound scary. Note: never go to J-rock concerts. The fans will kill you. ...But why the hell did you spent all the night outside. You sound like a crazy fan, too. (And missing half the concert after that must suck Oo)
No I've never been in a plane. Always went by train, bus or car. Maybe a passenger jet wouldn't scare me, I don't know. But one where you can see the ground? Uuuuh. I have acrophobia. That'd kill me X.x

I secretly like it too! :p
Pff well we had a hotel in Köln but we decided to check where the venue was before we went to sleep. When we got there (at 6 pm the day before the concert!) there were already a dozen people sitting there o.O
So there I was, all the way from the coast in Holland, in Germany, going to the band that touched my heart, who came all the way from Japan, and there was the risk of not seeing fuck if I went back the next day. So my only choice was to sit down with the rest. And then we heard about a signing session at 11 'o clock on the other side of the city. And they'd only sign for an hour so we needed to be at the front or else it'd all be for nothing... My poor sister stood with me all the way.
You've never flown!! Poor thing :(
For me, there's no better feeling in the world. <3
In a big bird you don't feel it so much, you don't see much either. So after takeoff it gets boring. But in a small birdie... Damn. <3
As for the headsets... I'd like to review what I said in my last post xD
I just flew in a Cessna and I didn't have one. I couldn't hear my instructor until he turned his off (the pilot in charge always needs one for communication with the ATC of course). It was doable, but I missed some stuff he said, so I'd rather fly with one.
What's acrophobia again? Are you sure it's stronger than the experience of flying? 'Cause seriously, you don't know what you're missing. :p

Yeah that sounds like crazy fan to me. Running through the whole city for autographs and staying awake all night for the band... xD
Acrophobia is fear of heights. It usually just triggers when I'm standing at some kind of edge and looking down, so it probably wouldn't be any problem in a plane but I don't know^^" I just prefer... being on the ground.
Really should draw the wings of maggie boy now ò.ó

I tried to sleep but it was too cold >>
I think I'd do it differently now, but it was over 3 years ago. x'D
Like I said, I worry about way other things nowadays.
Oh I wondered what that was called in English.
You know, when I'm standing on an edge and look down, I get the creepers too. But in an airplane it's nothing like that. You're sitting comfortably and and completely surrounded and safe. It feels totally different :p
Yes you shouuuuld~ <3
