Maybe a silly question but...

I've filled both my bars and have more shoes still to turn in. Can you fill your bars more than one time? I ask because my room bar says 742/741 instead of starting over.

Yea you can- It just goes a little over but soon it will reset to an empty bar with the number it went over with xD (so 744= 3/741)

this event is quite hard

ok.. i think there something don't work.. i'm trying to fill my "avatar bag" with shoes. it say that it registered them.. but when i look at my point bar (that one on the right where say "you have: ..." ) that would remain empty
i mean.. there isn't nothing.. not a number, not a word written.. it is supposed to work in that way?
