Finally got all the Bulbasaur candies I needed, so I can evolve my Venusaur. Also caught 3 Omanytes which was a new one for me.

It takes 50 candies. I hatched it with 49 and will have to walk 5k to evolve it.

wait why 5k? ;o

because it take five kilometers to get one candy >....<

Oh wat! For Halloween they made it .37. Then it normally is 3km for 1 vvv did they change it?

The distance required to get a candy depends on the type of pokemon you have, similar to the distance requirements for eggs to hatch.

Also the halloween event made it easier to get candy~ cause candy and sweets for halloween.

After going through my Pokedex I have realized that I have all the lower evolutionary Pokemon except one. I still need a Grimer, but I already have a Muk. For all the others I'll need to walk with them to earn the needed candies. Now I just need to find/hatch a Laparas, Porygon, Chansey, Jynx, Aerodactyl, and Snorlax.
