I just wear them with holes.
Shoes too.
Yeah, I don't know if there will be a calendar or even an event :\

I'm the patching type.
I also repair clothes that we wear outside, if it's an small issue you usually can sew it without being noticeable.
My son is so used to it that as soon as he makes holes in something, he automatically asks for repair.
For home clothes I don't care if they are noticeable, so I may have large patches.
Imho that extends the lifespan of the clothing.
I'm also doubting there'll be a calendar event.
It's day 4, I assume they would have said something by now? Even to annouce it's been delayed?
Maybe we have a shorter winter event this year.

I don't know how to patch ._.
My aunt will sew stuff but I don't like talking to her 8u
She's trying to force a new mattress on me and I don't want a new mattress.
My old one is fine. I don't know why she does shit like this.
I know there's times where Firn will finish the art side of stuff and we just have to wait for starkad to do the coding and whatnot. And then it's here \8u/
I want to ask but I don't like bothering them xD;
Didn't even want to mention my Halloween meter bugging out :\

I did not learn anything until very recently, when I was younger my mom did all the mending and she did not teach me anything.
"Oh, I'll do it faster myself" she would say.
So I learned most of it with youtube videos, and had more than one silly moment trying to buy stuff - and asking the most basic questions.
But, hey, at least now I'm able to do some mending.
That's it though, I can't make create something new, not even from patches.
Yes, of course, it's possible they are late.
And I don't want to ask them either. Because if that's the case they are probably busy enough.
But I prefer thinking we won't have it and later realize I was wrong, than keep thinking we will and be disappointed.

My great aunt sewed a lot of stuff. She even made a couple vests for me to wear u8
Yeah, I'm usually of that mindset. If I think the worst and it turns out okay it feels good.
If it turns out to be the worst, well I was already prepared u8

Exactly my mind.
I do it with everything.
Some people say "oh, you are a pessimistic".
No, I'm not.
I just prefer being surprised for better than being surprised for worse.

People have told me it's a very bad thing to think like that too.
They also call me a Pessimist when I'm actually being a Realist u8

My grandma often says: "expect the best, get ready for the worst".
Deep in my heart I always keep the hopes, but I'm mentally getting ready for the worst.

I think it's a good way to live ._.
Why expect the best just so you can be knocked down?
It hurts worse than not expecting the best.

Yup.
I tend to daydream a lot anyway.
I imagine how things are gonna turn out, how a conversation is going to go, etc.
If I also added an too-optimistc trait to that, I would be just too silly for my own good.
