Do you live in Korea, Natsuyuki? I've tried buldak noodles but I almost died from the spice!! I don't have the tolerance XD

Today I had to go to a family christening so had really bad buffet food lol it was awful, so I finished some leftovers for dinner when I got home lol

I live in Canada actually XD
But I live in this area with a big Asian population (Vancouver), so it's easy to get ingredients and snacks from China, Japan, and Korea /o/

Buldak noodles are deadly. I love the taste but whenever I make it I can only put in about half the spice sauce and then add a bunch of extra toppings to tone down the spice XD
The first time I ever had it (at full spice) I ended up having to down a whole box of ice cream to cool down :mcargh:

Today I had a light breakfast: yogurt and banana. Then an omelette sandwich midmorning.
Spaghetti bolognesa for lunch.
And since the weather is so hot, we are having melon & prosciutto for dinner.

Today I had a fake hoisin duck wrap, with some olives (weird combo I know) and I had a little snack of some wheat crunchies (a type of crisp/chip) and a happy hippo!

For dinner I made homemade leek and potato soup~ (no bread tho sadge)

What does fake mean? That you made it vegan? (I think you are vegan, right?)

I've looked up recipes for those wraps, I think that's something interesting I can do with that jar of hoisin sauce that's been sitting there for weeks...

Hoisin duck wrap :mclove:
*Drools*
Makes me crave Peking Duck...

Today I have a rare day off (for most of the day...still gotta work at night >_<), so I decided to go full spoil-myself-on-unhealthy-foods route.

For brunch I made Luosifen (translation: river snail rice noodles). Which is this infamous pre-packaged noodle dish in China. It's savoury, hot, sour, spicy, and smelly ehehehe :mcheh: But for those who are used to the taste it's so delicious *___*

Then I ordered bubble tea, decided to f calories and lactose and get the brown sugar milk tea WITH salted cheese cream... and a small cheesecake :mcsquee:

Dinner will be healthier though, I'm making tomatoe and egg flour-porridge.

Yup! I'm only a veggie, not vegan, but I like trying the new/different fake meat products lol. This one was only a cheap pre-made wrap from a supermarket so it wasn't fantastic, but it worked!

There's a local chinese restaurant that does amazing vegan duck, I've no idea how they do it.

On the topic of vegan duck I know there's this Chinese marinated tofu curd dish that basically tastes like meat *___* it doesn't have the texture though but the taste is on point.

Today I continued to be unhealthy.
For brunch I had a burger (which was sadly bleh) and poutine (which was pretty good), paired with coke.
For dinner I cooked a giant pot of chicken curry, it turned out too watery though D: I'm gonna have to rework it later...

Also chopping onions for curry made my fingers now smell onion-y QAQ

Oooh yeah that sounds good. Do you have cornflour, or chicken flavoured granules to help thicken it?

Yesterday I had a few snacks for lunch (some veggie fridge raiders, some crisps) not very healthy lol
For dinner I had a salad, some wedges and a burger (no bun)

I recently learned you can thicken stuff quickly with potato flakes, the ones which are used to make instant potato mash.
I had never bought the thing before, I gave it a try and the result was ok (not great) but certainly quick.
