That's actually what I think too.
Unfortunately Gaia doesn't see it this way.

Ever since we started making Knuffel we have been adding as much features as possible to make the whole experience more fun. This was the idea behind this.
We made this forum so we could listen to people's ideas and requests almost 1,5 years ago.
One of the things people kept requesting were "Dressable " or somehow "customizeable" Knuffel.
As I've explained above we cannot make Knuffel dress-able, therefore we thought this would be a nice alternative.

We never wanted to be competition and I honestly don't think we can. We are no big company after all, just two random freaks...

Honestly I agree with you wholeheartdly... so just out of curiousity what did they do like put an announcement up calling you guys a competition site? ((I am not up to date with Gaia, I kind of quit Gaia on my own, not because of KofK, but because... well I've said this before!))

Anyways, I just find it weird, because I alway thought this was like a sub-gaia area, because really a lot of the people here are Gaians... so this is like a secondary hangout...

I one of several private PMs I got from Gaia moderators.
The PMs weren't exactly right, at least not the way they were done.
But since Gaia is already not in good terms with us I don't want to push the issue any further in public.

I am really trying hard not to do anything they might find upsetting, which is hard nowadays.

Aw, I'm sorry Firn. Yeah... I think I'll be quite about the subject now... but that actually kinda sorta pisses me off, that'd be just like them getting pissed off because I made a forum site, some people don't like Gaia's environment, especially lately, but anyway, I'm sorry... I bet it's especially hard because you have like thousands of knuffle owners on gaia, and gaia's on your back... I wouldn't blame you if you felt stressed out actually, because I'm sure I would be!

Sometimes I get a bit carried away when people come with "Why don't you do that" and "Why don't we have this" and "You should make that".
But I don't really mean to sound snippy, I am really sorry.

I've seen people out there who really thought you could make feedable pets by using some programme and some people don't understand that this is a damn lot of work and actually we have to programme everything ourselves. And some things just are beyond our possibilities.
It's not like we have a secret programme where we can just push the secret "Make pets feedable", "make pets changeable", "add a sohp" or "Add dressable avatars" and so one -buttons.
I don't say that you sounded as if you thought it would work like this, but some people really do.

Reminds me of my sister's friend who said he wanted to bomb Gaia cuz he thinks it's retarded.

Sorry Firn, I just have one last thing to say about that piece of topic

It's like saying that a Gaia Mod cannot have a MySpace because it is a Forum competition site... and honestly according to American Law they can not ban you for having a website other than Gaia... or they wouldn't have very many members trust me, I know a lot of other gaians with small forum websites like this... only not as cool ^^

And Yuuko, Gaia's doing it because a lot of people who have become "anti-gaia" have used this spot as their "second Gaia," they think that if they show something against knuffel that none of the gaians would "leave" for here, but honestly I quit Gaia on my own, before I joined here...
