Yes, it clearly states in the rules that "images wider than 500 pixels or taller than 900 pixels must be linked to". You're lucky Mikeru-san was so nice.

Mikeru-san: You can remove page-stretching in the future, even if they are for the contest. People will just have to edit their post with a link or smaller image.

Hiragana Art Contest Winners

First Place: ka by inarion

This is a wonderful entry, Inarion. I love the coloring on it. Its cool how the green changes in shade, and you blended the colors very well. The vines and leaves are amazing too. Also, thank you for entering twice. Next time make sure to crop out anything left by your scanner (which I did in this image).

Second Place: ku by Katherdante

This idea was so creative, and I absolutely love the little onigiri. x3

Third Place: nya by Starlight

Amazing artwork, I love your style. I was tempted to give you second, but the charcters could have been more blended into the picture. We would have been able to see the characters without them being written in or highlighted.

Fourth Place: ki by chibi_jinyo

I like how you took a different approach from most of the other submissions. I almost gave you third, but the background seems kind of rushed or messy.

She was the first to enter, and she entered twice. However, I am giving her a prize not for that, but as a thank you for supporting this contest by having the banner in her signature. Thank you!
