Well it's $23 for the ff game which is 2nd hand on sale, though originally $28. And my guide book is $19 and then shipping on top.
Yeah I hate it too. Though I think this one tried. I've seen her before for #4.
I can't get it till tomorrow anyway, says on the card.

Guide book?
I'm surprised you have to wait that long? I can often collect my missed parcel after 4pm which is still quite late. Depends on when I missed it. If it was a morning package, usually it's back in the post office by 2pm.
Thank you Haze :3

Oh, happy birthday Poshi! Hope you're having a great day :)
I was away for a few days because I was visiting my sister on the occasion of my middle niece starting school. And now my semester has also started, so I ended up busy and am slowly catching up with different threads.
For us it's always you have to wait till the next day to pick it up if you miss a parcel. It sounds really neat to be able to get it already the same afternoon!
As for numbers, I'll just stick with 2 again.

Thank you :3 My day is uneventful except the influx of messages. I'll be celebrating tomorrow with my bf but I'm fairly exhausted today.
Oh, your semester starts now? I'm currently in week 9/13 so almost at the end.
I guess I should consider myself lucky then. I'm so impatient when it comes to waiting for parcels. I'm constantly waiting at the door.
I rolled a 5 today.

Happy Birthday Poshi
Japan is fantastic with parcels. You can call and they come back to deliver it at whichever you choose. Sometimes you can even choose when they deliver when you send something.
I only wish it would be open on Saturdays. I can understand Sundays but closing on Saturdays is pushing it.

Thank you guys. My day got a little more exciting as my best friend came over at 7 and we hung out. She brought me a little birthday cake which was lovely and some gifts. I was also finally able to give her her birthday gifts from last month as well. She's too sweet.
No, you haven't rolled yet River.
Why do you need a guide book? I usually just wander the game aimlessly by myself until I defeat the elite 4 then I have no clue what to do afterwards. I'm also crazy and I talk to EVERY NPC and enter every building. Unless you're the type that completes the pokedex x_x that takes so long.
The price you pay for good service Kuuki. It's like how Japan train services end really early. Like 10. We have trains till 1am (depending where you live) and then open back up at around 4.30am.

Yeah, our fall semester is from the middle of september until christmas. The spring one is february to end of may.
I usually just go to bulbapedia or pokewiki to figure out what I might be missing in pokemon games. Or to figure out where to best catch some specific pokemon, things like that. With these great resources, I've never felt the need for a guidebook either.
Once you get yours, please do tell us what you use it for and how you like it, River!
Also, yay for your sweet friend Poshi! That sounds like nice company to spend your birthday with!

well then 3
Well I collect the guide books. And sometimes like when the internet is down or you're not in a place with internet they're really handy.
But I do like them for the looks of them and sometimes I just don't want to go on bulbapedia.
I've got the soul silver and heat gold ones and black and white/2 ones. And now this one. And the sun and moon ones. :)
That includes the after game guide books for most. Though not sure where I'll find that for alpha sapphire and omega ruby.
