I really think that it depends. A lot of people on here love chatting a lot. And there are people who are really shy in real life but they really enjoy it on here because there are other people like them.

I also think that the avatar sites are kind of a niche market. Many people are not into it.

I think a lot of people don't stay due to inactivity. I know I have trouble frequenting the place when it's not responsive. I think kofk is quite hard to get stuck into because it looks 'dead'.

I don't know. I really enjoy it on here. I wish it was a little more popular.

Yeh, I notice a lot of active threads but I guess I'm super selective about where I chat. If it's too active I feel like I'm interrupting.
