I would love to be a vet and help save animals.
My heart is too fragile, though.
I could never put one down.
That's why my dad told me I'd never be able to go hunting either xD

My dad grew up on a farm so he's hunted a lot. Whatever he'd kill, he'd bring it home and my grandma would cook it.
My dad taught me when I was a child, that our Native American ancestors hunted and killed animals for food and clothes and stuff.
He said they never wasted any of it and that they respected the animals they killed and nature as a whole.
I still don't think I could go hunting, though.
Maybe if I was starving and delirious with hunger, but I'd feel guilt xD

It's a little bit of a different feeling when you rely on animals and nature for subsistence and/or survival. It's also different when you're closer to the bottom of the food processing chain rather than always being at the dinner table with fully cooked and processed food ready-to-eat instead of taking care of the actual processing side of it.

I named the baby Bella. Not original, since she's a Bella Pouet doll.

I grew up in the bush. My family raised most of our own food.

I used to go fishing with my grandpa when I was little.
He'd cook them for us.
I'll never forget being alone and I caught a pretty sun perch.
I couldn't get it off the hook and it ended up dying.
I felt so horrible.

I wish you could get some Japanese purple sweet potatoes to make fried potatoes out of. They're GOOD as a savoury.. .well, they're always a bit sweet, but I think you know what I mean.
