Genetics and epi-genetics are super cool so i'm super happy I can use my wealth of basically useless info in some ways in pharmacy.

Yeah sometimes “useless” info can be so fascinating. Like those useless trivia facts you sometimes know.

Sometimes its really fun learning about random facts other people know. A pharmacist I worked with a long time ago was also super into genetics so he'd tell me random genetics facts all the time.

It is! It just means that you don't produce any or any significant amount of melanin there.

it reminds of of people going to appear on game shows like jeopardy or something. like....how much do you have to read or study to actually answer questions on that show? xD;; or like "who wants to be a millionaire?" or such. like, these game shows, like you should know SOME stuff, right? so like.....you must need to do some cramming and studying...

Iirc the first winner of who wants to be a millionaire didn't use any help at all until the last question, and only used it to be all "hey I'm gonna win"

It would be fun to see random people pulled for a game, just to see what really random-ass shit they know

i dunno lol, i'm just giving some examples. millionaire is less of an example, given they get choices and they can ask for help. jeopardy on the other hand.......XD

lol that would be.....well there is sorta something like that. like in canada, they used to have a show called the cash cab. someone would go around in a taxi cab and ask questions to unsuspecting fare customers and they get money for all the right answers they get. XD and they keep answering questions til they get to their destination. however, 3 strikes and they get kicked to the curb lol.

Lots of people really enjoy trivia. I love trivia shows. I love learning interesting new things.

I guess that's also why lots of blind people's eyes are blue or white.

i don't watch tv much anymore and when i do, its always those crime scene shows. xD;; i dunno why but i can watch and rewatch those like eating potato chips. xD;; i never get tired of them.
