I think it was based in Quebec because my mother recognized the license plates on the car even if they were blurred. She also can read lips and thought they were speaking in french whenever someone mouthed a word.

The real world is terrifying and many people get away with stuff. I do love true crime documentaries though.

Yeah it was based there. Montreal is just another city in quebec lol.
But yeah, i knew it was french because the credits were usually partially in french. So yeah.

It is. 8u so terrifying.

I keep forgetting that Montreal is in Quebec. Of all the times I visited I never stepped foot into Montreal so I guess my mind refuses to associate them.

Wanna know something funny? Even though I love true crime, I hate hospital shows and shows about frontline workers. You would think they'd be on similar levels of discomfort and interest for most people.

There's some overlap but there's also a lot of differences
Like I like watching Property Brothers, but not so much Flip or Flop. Both are home renovation shows

Aaah its these people again. QnQ

Only home reno show i’ve ever watched is Extreme Home Makeover. Those shows where a group of people come to some family with a story and just rebuild their house.

I like it when they're like we have a budget of 5 dollars but we're only looking at million dollar houses.

It's very silly.

I remember watching house hunters with my mom, because my mom loves those kind of shows, and these people have extremely huge budgets, but they work very low paying jobs. I never noticed it when I was younger, but man, how were people affording those homes. But times have changed so maybe it was better back then when I watched it.

I'm assuming they either have family money or they're lying about the jobs for the 'privacy' of the people on the show.
