I've had them in chips. VERY tasty. Also not actually a potato like the common potato, but from the same family as the orange sweet potato that many North Americans call yam.

I love regular sweet potatoes \8u/
I wish I could visit Japan...I know I'd like it there.
The winter and chance of tsunamis is intimidating, though u8
I'm terrified of water and Japan is surrounded by water 8,u

I'd love to visit there someday, but only to visit. I think it'd be too overwhelming, sensory-wise, for me, to live there.

It's funny and interesting how places are different.
Like where I'm from, people make small talk and nod their heads at each other and say hello.
Other places, apparently you just don't do that 8u
People think you're suspicious.
Like damn I was just trying to be nice u8<

Well, I know what Texas Nice is.
What are the others xD?

I remember when I was a kid, my grandpa and I would go on little drives out in the country.
I would see other drivers either wave or nod at my grandpa.
I asked him why they did that because they were strangers.
He said "People are just friendly."

I'd love to taste those noodles. :D

Yeah, Moi. A big reason I don't wanna go to any islands is STORMS. I don't wanna get washed away. lol That, and a lot of the ones people like are crowded and hot. I've told my employer that I don't think I'd want to visit India (I know, not an island) because there are so many people that I'd get overwhelmed.

Around here it's maybe about half and half. Some people smile back at you, or say good morning back. Others IGNORE, or glare if you try.

I'll tuck a package of 'em in the next box I get sent up your way, Tam.

I usually don't bother with waving. I just give people a nod, unless I know 'em, then they get a wave.

It's funny you mention India because I was watching a video about something and this Indian guy was like "All my Indians, comment my post if your neighbors can hear you blink \8u/"
Apparently the houses are so close together and so many people live in them.

I hate waving...I've waved at people not waving at me before xD;
