Oh boy. Lots of people who work in charities are super judgey. lol. Like serious assholes.
Not many things bother my stomach much except for excess oil. Most fried things I'm not fond of.
I am very picky about food though. And unfortunately if I severely dislike a food I cannot force myself to eat it. It will make me gag a lot.
I also like knowing that I'm helping people. I think that's a common sensation. Enjoying being helpful and such.

Yea I also saw people working in charities steal from them!! I used to volunteer at a goodwill when I was younger and they would take all the "brand name" stuff home with them!!
I guess goodwill isnt a charity though maybe?

Its super common for people working in charities to get first dibs on things. Its a weird concept because its supposed to be going towards others who really need it.

I'm not very fond of fried chicken. I LOVE grilled or baked chicken though. Delicious!
Goodwill is an awful company that pretends to be a charity.
I don't want to super get into it, but they're terrible. I don't blame the employees for stealing from Goodwill.
You should always do a bit of research on a charity before you donate to them. Lots of them are basically fronts for rich people to cheat their way out of taxes and make huge profits.
Generally small charities are better. Also, food banks where you actually donate food. I find that women's and children's shelters are also pretty good.

There's only certain fried foods I like. I hate eating meat off the bones (because it reminds me I'm eating an animal lmao, but I won't go vegetarian/vegan because I like meat) so I tend to avoid KFC/fried food places. Especially pop eyes because their chicken is so moist. Moist chicken makes me gag. Even baking, gotta get it to where it's not moist, but also not too dry (which I fail at tbh)
I will never ever donate to a goodwill. I think I've only ever shopped in one maybe once or twice. There are so many local charity/thrift shops in my area that will give the proceeds to local charities. I rather my items go there if they are still usable and I do not need. I can see where the money goes from these places as well. Definitely not into the hands of greedy people.

And then here it's goodwill, salvation army, and that's it

The salvation army is also a place I avoid. They tend to be super anti-lgbtq or at least were. I haven't checked in to see if they changed up their policies. My family used to donate to a local church, and they were sweet because it went to the community, they were also the ones who ran the food bank that my grandmother helped out at.

Yea this is the case for me too! I wish we had other organizations here! I do volunteer now at a food bank! And haven't seen anyone stealing anything from there so thats a good sign.
