I don't really believe in the concept of 'stealing food'. Unless you're literally taking food off of someones plate or out of their pantry or something.
Yeah, Salvation Army hates the LGBTQ+. They have horrible policies as well.
I'm always very iffy about church charities as well because a lot of the time they give with one hand and try to drag you into church with the other. No thanks.

The only time we donate is when we go to those random drop off donation boxes that they sometimes have in mall/plaza parking lots.
Yeah frankly, i’m very picky about my fried foods. I’ll eat some but not eat others. I’m weird lol. I don’t mind moist chicken, like i like having some gravy or sauce sometimes. But like sometimes, the way chicken breast is made is too dry to the point where i want to hack at the dryness lol.

I once applied to work at a corporate office for the Salvation Army cuz I needed a job. Didn't realize they were actually a religion. So glad I didn't get that job. Probably wouldn't have gotten it to begin with because I completely bombed the interview since it was one of the first ones I had.
I once cooked thinly cut chicken boobs for the same amount of time as the thick chicken breasts. It was so dry, but I didn't want to waste it so I just ate it with a bunch of ketchup...which gave me a ton of heartburn but that's a different story.

The donation boxes should have information on them. At least the name of the charity.
I'm very weird about food but I at least try to try new things regularly.
Yeah, chicken breast get dry real quick. Well, any light meat really. That's why I prefer dark meat. And dark meat is more flavorful.
I love ketchup but that is not my go to sauce for chicken. lol. I would use ranch or maybe vinaigrette.

All the donation boxes that are at random locations are for Goodwill so I avoid those. Usually we have to take the stuff to the thrift/charity stores.
When I was dieting hardcore, it was when I moved out on my own, so my cooking still reflects trying to eat "healthy" lol. So I tend to cook with chicken breasts when it calls for something else.
My mom has made me love ketchup on anything and everything. Plus I learned that some of the ways she cooked food when I was growing up I didn't like so ketchup would cover up me not liking it.

That's fair, ketchup covers up a lot of stuff. If I make plainer chicken, my husband drowns it in ketchup.

I got it from my mom because she's the same way. She told me it was because her parents would make liver at least once a week and she hated it so she would drown it with ketchup. So it runs in the family now lol. My brother is the same way. My sister doesn't like ketchup so she's the odd one out.

I remember one time I was eating steak and someone was like "no ketchup?" They really couldn't believe I wasn't using ketchup.
