Steak is expensive over here. We don't get to eat it often.

Yeah I don't eat steak a whole heck of a lot. But usually when it's seasoned good and cooked just right, it tastes so good you don't need to add anything extra to it. lol.

Yeah, the only time that I would put ketchup on a steak is if it was cooked poorly. And if I'm at a restaurant and they cook my steak bad, I'm sending it back. I ain't paying like 20+ bucks for a hockey puck.

I'm not the type of person to complain about my food to the wait staff. My grandpa would send his food back multiple times though. I wouldn't be surprised if his food didn't get spit on a few times. He was quite...particular on how his food was cooked and served.

As someone who worked in a restaurant I would never blame a server for a cook's mistake. But I do want what I order. If it's something that I can easily fix, like taking onions off a burger or something I'll do that. If it's cooked wrong, I send it back and ask for a new one politely.

I'm pretty poor so if I spend the money to go out I want to get what I order. I've never thought that returning stuff that's cooked wrong is rude as long as you're polite about it.
