Ah, yes. When you have a very specific need and it's a bit expensive not having the money for it does temper it some. :}

I have finally embraced the fact that I do have money to spend on things I really want.

It taught me to be a bit less willy nilly on spending but that said I still go a bit nuts when I can spend a lot.

Yes indeed.
But as I grew up without a lot of money I would never spend it "just like that". I always think about whether I really need the thing or not.
Nevertheless, I bought a few fandom things (like HP or LoZ) because I love those worlds.
