You basically have to write :) it is a random thing. Well, we have a kinda plot, but it isn't so fix. You will get into it after you write and all :) read what we are writing.
About the OC creating: OC=Original Character, which means you create a character (person, animal, magical creature etc.) you give him/her personality, look and background. Though that can come later after you get more into the OC. I usually make a design, give a name for the character, and from the name and look I basically have her personality too. What I need to come up with is basically the background :) It isn't so hard.
