My parents dog was a small dog but she was tough. She one hit killed a roach for me one time...my hero! She might have caught some birds. I wouldn't be surprised. I know she's caught Iguanas somehow. O.o; She also kept trying to catch some squirrels but they were too fast for her. They liked to tease her because they would go halfway down a tree and would be just out of reach from her. Those squirrels were evil.

cats just like to play... But a bird could land in front of my cat and he would fail to catch it. He's so clumsy.

They run into our yard for some reason <<
But they always outrun the dogs.

They do that because they know they are faster. I've seen squirrels just run between dogs legs.
