Skipping Duolingo today, I spend way to much time looking up names for characters in a large fanfic project I took on. :}

Pity that you skipped duolingo, but great that you were so deeply involved in the fanfiction stuff :)

I think I'm on a 8 days streak or something :)

I had a 600+ day streak when a glitch set me back to 0 about four months ago.
And I use the freeze option if I know I'll miss a day so my streak stays intact.

Absolutely love Duolingo for learning danish, but with the remodeling of the house next door there is no way I can both work on my stories as do language.
The noise is horrendous. :}

Noise next door is never nice, I remember when they did that at my parents' hourse, I could barely concentrate on studying for school.

Yeah, I was really sad I lost that.

I have no idea what they are doing but it sounds like they are stripping the house back to the building bricks.
The noise is still annoying and it is messing with my hearing. Yesterday I struggled to do Duo as I simply could not hear certain tones.
Today I spend most of my time out the house and it was fine. :}

I think one time one of our neighbours had stuff taken out of his flat at like 8am..

it was horrible cause I do go to bed late so I wanted to sleep more..

Yeah they started at 8am as well, and as I go to bed at about 2 am I wasn't ready to wake up either. :}
