Agreed. You'd have to buy all of them, wait for the new release and then let them go as far as I've seen happening in the past. Firn really dislikes when that happens though, since it basically means people are rushing her to make a new one rather than waiting for the other to be picked up by new loving owners...

agreed! that would be really cute.
imo it makes more sense that they'd look similar if they were related, rather than in any sort of relationship.

I hope they're not really the same though, I'm not sure I would want to see that kind of gender remakes of my knuffel regularly. I know some people collect same knuffel a few times so why not the same but in another gender ; but that's not my thing.
So many "if" though in that theory, i'll just wait and see! plus, I don't have the gen 1 light and this lil boy looks very cute, so it's all good ;D

Or maybe they're like some deities who have both male and female aspects (Freyr/Freya or Amun/Amaunet for example) or are very closely related. The word I'm searching for is "Parèdre" in french, it exists in german, italian or spanish, spelt almost the same, but I can't find the english translation (but you're not all native english-speakers so you might see what I mean)^^
