i had mom off cigs for a whole month, then a neighbor bought her a fking pack D:<

Damn, that's so much progress lost. What was the neighbor thinking?! Is she back on them hard core now or do you think she could be weened off?

Mom's been trying to hide the fact that she's smoking but yea.. >->
She actually smoked in her bedroom the one night, i smelled it and busted in but since she only takes small puffs, by the time the smell came to the living room she had already put it out.


Neighbor is also a smoker and like all smokers "She's an adult so she can make her own choices." =A= yea.. do you say that to adults who are addicted to speed or heroin? no you don't.... ADDICTION IS ADDICTION!

Smoking is by no means something that you can hide. It's totally obvious so it's surprising to me when people try to play it off like that.

I agree. It's really bad for you too... And I bet if she got past the addiction phase she wouldn't even miss it!

My parents have to both quit together or it won't work for them.

I guess that makes sense... if you're around someone who is always doing what you're trying to quit.

the only reason mom got to quit for a month was because she didn't visit any of her neighbor friends =A= now that she's back to visiting that one.. she's back at it. >:x

Exactly. That has to be frustrating... I feel for you. I hope one day you can finally get her to quit for real. I asked my mom why she finally quit and she simply said "Because I wanted to" that's the key.

What kind of headache? I've been getting sharp stabbing pains around my ears... I'm betting it's sinus. I dunno.
