Holy ***k.

Going from the most South Provincial Capital (Maastricht) to the most North Provincial Capital (Groningen) in the Netherlands is a shorter trip (335,9km or 3:18h) than from Inverell to Byron Bay (364,5km or 4:49h). And this is when in both cases you have the shortest route possible...

I am not capable to actually draw a mental image here. My mind refuses. :}

Also a lot of people seem to somehow forget Australia is huge.

We can travel for hours and get nowhere.

That was the map I got when I looked up the distance. I know Australia is big.

But if you scroll till you have the whole of Australia on your screen that distance is nothing, as where when you scroll out to have the Netherlands fill your screen it's all there is.

For one who thinks traveling from one part to the other of this country already can take too long, it is simply unimaginable not stumbling in the next town over ten minutes after you've left your hometown. :}

yeah I can I think travel half hour till I come across a teeny tiny town but that's probably the shortest time around here to find another town.

I'm the type of person that likes walking.
It's not uncommon to go around several towns while taking a day out and still be home before dinner. That is unimaginable in Australia. :}

I also like walking ;) If possible I always do that. Unless I am too tired.

I like walking but playing pokemon go at the same time

Pokemon Go was a great way for Nintendo to get more people to get out. :}

though saving for a switch but don't think I'll get the let's go games till like later. I'd rather the rpg that comes out late next year
