No prob. XD
I sometimes have that problem, it's usually nice if I can say a lot and still want to explore the character.
I am thinking about making a girl also from Polis, but I only have vague ideas about what to develop next. I'm not really sure how she's like. Don't even know her name. XD;

Nah, it was a private tutoring session. And it was kind of late... 6:30 to 8:30. I don't like classes at night but my tutor's in college and that's when he has free time. P:;

Not yet. I'm thinking her family would be in a poorer less advantageous class. Or maybe that's just me trying to not make all my characters well off. P:

Nope, I have the classes on Monday morning, Wednesday night, and Saturday morning.

well... the polis is the kind of city where the poor / rich distinction isn't really that noticeable actually. o:
i mean each caste is completely different, yes, and only the brahmins and the kshatriya can be in the councl which decides everything, but... when it comes to living conditions, it's similar for everyone as long as they do their job. o3o

If I'm gonna use my character, I'm wondering which station he would fit in. Which station would accept a stray boy who wandered in from the surface?

Celeste has long classes -.-

@ mercu: Ah, I see. So there's not really a difference between classes other than different jobs?

@ all: I gotta go to bed now, good night. P:

@celeste: pretty much, yeah.
good night. <3

@bright: ummm... you mean the castes from the polis?
well, if he came into the polis and said that he was from the surface, they'd probably take him for a madman. and i don't think if an outsider even can join one of the castes. o: o_O
...but, well, since we can't exactly ask glukhovsky i guess i'll decide. :P
i suppose they could sort of adopt him if he proved to be no threat to them and loyal to the station. he definitely couldn't join the keepers - i mean he doesn't have much knowledge about anything, right? he'd be free to join any of the other castes though, as long as he was able to do what was required of him within it (manual labor as a servant, trading as a merchant, fighting really well as a soldier).

So the characters have to come from the Polis?

no, but you said classes, and the only thing in the metro that's reminiscent of classes in any way are the castes.

Hah, I'm pretty sure I changed it to stations moments after submitting it... Guess you still saw if before I corrected it... P:
