Today should have been my one rest-full day this week and I ended up stressing about some packages that were supposed to be delivered today.
One came with the package service and was delivered on time and properly to our door, the Second was a book that should fit through our mailslide but was dropped of at our neighbors even though I was at home, and the Third... who the *** knows where they left it but they say it is still on its way.
Guess which of the these contained the items I really, really needed to have o do what I had planned today. :}

Just got back from HK. Did some unpacking and cleaning but srs it was tiring. Probably around a day and more of no sleep and no shower lol.

Skipping showers drives me bonkers. I do not like how icky, sticky, and slimy I feel. Not really avoidable during crunch time at work either.

I hate it too but it’s not like you can shower when you’re on a 11hr flight with a transfer that adds even MORE hours. Lol

I can imagine. I've never flown, but I've heard enough horror stories about what constitutes as a toilet on a plane, and then airports being reminiscent of a camping trip with a certain level of accepted despair.

Well it’s not THAT bad, I don’t fly much myself so it’s fine occasionally. And i haven’t had many flight transfers or layovers so I don’t stick around airports for long.

I intend to someday just to see what's it's like to have high altitude affect your sense of taste. Or so they say.

Basically, the lower the atmospheric pressure, the less aroma particles travel and it lessens the perceived flavour. Now, when I lost my sense of smell twice with the 'rona, my sense of taste did not change. So I am very curious to find out what happens if I ever fly and eat, compared to somebody whose taste/smell senses seem to be so strongly interwoven that they lost both with the 'rona.
