Qualitative would be to take only a few examples and analyse them thoroughly whereas qualitative methods try to give you the full picture of something. Usually one analyses a big amount of the whole sum so that it is representative. :)

I hope I'm more productive tomorrow.... though I suspect I'll avoid the dishes.

I miss the dishwasher.

I have to admit it was nice having one in Ireland, but I noticed that I dislike drying the dishes and putting them back into the cupboard, but I don't mind washing them.

I have a dishwasher, but I used to have a way better one. Ex took it. Now I still have to dry everything off and sometimes it doesn't even wash properly.
