I'm currently learning to draw as well... A friend is helping me out, but I keep checking internet to find good sites... I have sooooo many ideas, and I'm usually unable to draw them, more or less, I'm just not satisfied with how they turn out when I'm able to draw them...
There's one I'm very happy with, but I'm having trouble redoing him on pc so I can color it...

Hnnng... I'm glad my family is mostly pretty quiet as a whole. I have some party-animal cousins, but we don't meet that often and the ones I am close with are more sedate. /nodnod. *hugs*

It took me ages to get used to doing art on the computer. XD *technology=hatesme*

@ Seccy- you can wear all the items. :D not like solia. you'll understand when you get it. They like separate in your invo when you buy it.
All the stuff should be in there for awhile. Except the taurus set (which is this month's monthly item) That'll leave at the end of the month. The other items will stay longer and we'll get an announcement a few days before they leave. ^__^

Also, the hair is like on gaia. they don't go into your invo, so be careful what you buy. The hair in sets are more like wigs and they will stay in your invo.

@Raine: XD I see. I guess too many ideas can be a problem, too. xP

@Amalath: Thank you, and good luck to you as well. I used to make some decent pieces in art class back in high school but it was mostly paint and I only sketched a rough outline of what to paint. Even then, though, they weren't really my original ideas. We just painted references from magazines and stuff.

@Vineda: That's nice of your friend. :) I have a friend who likes to draw as well but she's at about the same skill level as I am. xD She's just better at some aspects that I'm not and vice versa. Her lineart is usually awesome and she can draw animals pretty well. OwO I can SOMETIMES produce a decent human figure which she's not particularly talented at. xD

If you guys wanna check out the site, it's drawspace.com . It's got beginners/introductory lessons and progresses forward from there gradually and it's all FREE! I quite like it because I tend to overthink things a lot and it sort of breaks things down in a simpler form which is great for me. :) I'm really bad at not drawing/practicing every day to hone my skills because >3< I'm a video game nerd and the video games usually win out and take over my entire spare time. XD

@secriden: There are quite a few shops and pretty things on here. You can preview them on the Dream Avatar Creator here and see what items you can wear together. And the shops are here. Firn's put a short description of them on the left side, it looks like. And if you use the Dream Avatar Creator and don't know where an item you like is from, you can click on 'Get Item List' and it'll show a price and abbreviation of what shop they're from. If they don't have a price or shop name, it's a Treasure Trove item most likely. :D

Also, once you're on a shop screen, there's a bar above the page numbers with links to the other shops so you don't have to keep going back to the shops main page.

I'm not that good at human figures either, my friend is best at chibi's in action and human poses... If it's still chibi's I sometimes beat her! Proof that she's good at teaching... Thanks for the site! After exams I'll start practising again.

@ Raine, I know what you mean, technology usually breaks around me too... My own laptop is the only thing that can resist my bad vibes... I once temporarily broke a ticket gate by just touching...
I was on a trip with two of my friends and we had to board the train to get home, to do that you need to scan your ticket and the gate will open... I finally got it to work after five minutes of trying, and was waiting on the other side for my friend... It was really busy so I had to wait inside the electronic gate and was leaning against it... No matter how many times my friend tried to enter it didn't work, so she started joking and saying my 'denpa' were acting up... I laughed and stopped leaning against the damn machine to 'supposedly' stop working my mojo and the machine started working immediately after... Even the staff that was helping was amazed at the coincidence... Same with other people's computers, I can break them by pointing at it...

This once time.. I had a computer that I broke. And I unplugged it, but later that night it turned itself on for no reason at all. Like... it was still unplugged, freaked me out. @__@
kinda unrelated tho. XD
But yeah, I've killed several computers here. I'm amazed my laptop is still working. Not only have I been touching it, but I keep spilling my drinks on it. ^^;

Time to blend into a conversation...

I have the same things with what I own. My tablet broke last month and my brandnew(well two month old) laptop already got a deep cratch in its screen, luckily a small one, and a dead pixel.

The only things that haven't had a major problem are my Playstation 3 and my phone. Altough the latter is acting up too. Everything has either a huge scratch, is either half fucntioning or has dead pixels. :qsweat:

@Raine: I can imagine. Especially for Knuffel. I entered one in a contest and my friend and I had the hardest time coming up with enough stuff to put on them so they look completed. XD It was difficult. x.x I don't know how Firn has come up with as many as she has.

In the worst cases... Its black or white meaning its completely broken.
