Okay, is there knuffel etiquette about this at all? I really love the current Fire knuffel and she's almost out. And I'm super tempted to just buy up the rest and have a little mini-army of her, because, well, she's super cute!
But it means that every one I'm getting, someone else doesn't get. 'Cause it's not like they're unlimited like the Trial knuffels.
Well, unless people spend lots of FCs on her later, but yeah, not the point.
Anyhow.

Is it considered rude to do that? Or is it just considered normal fandom?

I'm pretty sure that's fine :> It's not like knuffel sell out super quickly nowadays, so everyone who's active has a good chance to get one, and people release newer knuffel more often than the very old ones, too.
Only buying them up in order to get a new knuffel sooner (and then releasing them again) is not appreciated.

You can adopt as many as you want. As Pernelle said - The Knuffel has been here for a while and everyone who wants to adopt it had a fair chance.
But something that I have requested from users before is to please not just buy a Knuffel for the sake of it selling out and then, as soon as the new Knuffel is there, dropping it back to Knufftropolis. I still see this happening ocassionally: A Knuffel sells out, we put the new one online and bam! - 10 of the old ones are immediately back in Knufftropolis. I think that's just kind of rude. So don't adopt it, if you don't want it.
Also, the new Knuffel isn't finished yet, so even if you adopt them all, there won't be a new one. I have finished the art and all, but starkad didn't have the time to work on it yet, as he has been busy with the summer event and is also busy with exams right now. I am sure he'll manage to add the new Knuffel sometime during the week, but it's just not there yet.
