It's new, just started airing this season. So not that strange. I've only known of it due to tumblr. :}

Oooh I see. Is it similar to the old one? Does it replay the same stuff the old series did or does it continue where it left off?

The comic is a horror version that is situated in the '60, the new series is based on that.

So completely different, and definitely not a continuation. :}

I dunno what they were expecting, what with the title saying chilling adventures in it

I've seen the first episode of it yesterday with a friend who also wanted to see it. We both thought there are many similarities with Harry Potter and Stranger Things.. But we like it.
I don't think it is super different actually.

the only huge difference is she's less popularity obsessed from what I've seen and also they worship satan..
