Well because it was malfunction, my coworker i mentioned was on break and I was sitting down reading, so the sudden clatter of metal on concrete was a surprise

yeaaaaah i just keep saving til something leaves the shop and then i use like 300-400 donuts just to get the set leaving. xD which is why i have so much, because i don't use them til stuff leaves.

Yeah, and when the lines did have a pipe burst or something, whoever was up there was okay each time

I had one hemorrhaging oil over the molds, they had 3 mechanic calls in about two minutes which made the day shift mechanics (all lazy) realize SOMETHING was up. Hit the e-stop with that
One had a water hose burst, got the people (one was a trainee) wet from what I heard
And another had a hydraulic break, which caused damage from that grease everywhere
And then there was the plate break, which shit happens, change the plate and the job
Apparently two of the machines gave a person a bottle on fire. And then when he became a printer he had a bad tendency to accidentally have bottles fall inside the oven and light up. But the ONE TIME the fire alarm went off he legitimately had nothing to do with it ahahahahaha

Tbf from what you've been saying, I would have noped out of there because that does not sound like a particularly safe place to work.

The place I work at has had some dumb and just not smart thinking accidents this year. But I don't think any involved any actual machines.

woow those are some pretty serious accidents. 8u i don't think i've ever had that happen during my short stint working on a line.
granted, the fumes from the chemicals were strong enough to temporarily turn my hair a lighter shade of black. XD;; which was......interesting i suppose.

You had a science experiment happening in your hair. Maybe if you worked it long enough your hair would have turned grey lol.

more like light brown lol. xD but yeah, because the sanitizing/cleaning liquid we fill the bottles and containers of napkins with, i think there was some kind of chemical in there and the liquid would foam and sometimes those bubbles and stuff will float up into the air. so some of it mightve landed in our hair.....and temporarily bleaching our hair pft.
